About Handro Horn

Handro Horn holds a BHSc (Hons) in Biokinetics from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Strength & Conditioning Coach with a strong passion for rehabilitation, return-to-play and athlete performance.

Currently working within the high-performance rugby environment at Maritzburg College, Handro integrates evidence-based rehabilitation with performance training to help athletes and active individuals recover, move better and perform at their highest level. His experience includes working closely with doctors, physiotherapists and multidisciplinary support teams in the management of orthopaedic and sports-related injuries.

His approach combines detailed assessments, objective testing and individualised rehabilitation strategies to guide every patient through a structured recovery process - from pain and injury through to full recovery and performance.

Alongside orthopaedic rehabilitation and athlete development, Handro also has a growing interest in golf performance, movement assessment and long-term injury prevention.

At Horn Rehab & Performance, the goal is simple:

Your Recovery. Our Commitment

At Horn Rehab & Performance, we believe rehabilitation is about more than treating an injury. It's about understanding the individual behind it.

Every assessment begins with listening to your goals, identifying the root cause of the problem and creating a personalised plan built around your lifestyle, sport or daily activities. Using objective testing, evidence-based rehabilitation and regular progress reviews, we measure improvement rather than relying on guesswork.

Throughout your recovery, we keep you informed with clear explanations, written progress reports and ongoing communication, ensuring you always understand where you are, what comes next and how we're working together to achieve the best possible outcome.
